Admission Fees

  • Adults: $9
  • Children (ages 3 - 12): $7
  • Children (2 and under): Free
  • Members: Free (must present a Patron Pass or photo identification)
  • Military: $1 discount to active and retired military personnel and their families

Summer Demonstrations (June 2 - August 28)

  • Daily - Musket Firings in the Fort at 11 am and 2 pm; Tailoring of English Clothing in Rocke Hall
  • Wednesday and Friday - Tobacco Weeding and Worming at the Plantation
  • Friday - Blacksmithing at the Forge
  • Saturday - Cannon Firings in the Fort at 1 pm

June Theme:

Cruel and Unusual?  Crimes and Punishments Month

Interpreters will be demonstrating elements of discipline and judicial systems throughout the month of June. The English fort will demonstrate a martial punishment during the time of martial laws in Virginia. The tobacco plantation will demonstrate a legally acceptable punishment administered to members of the household or indentured servants. The parsonage will demonstrate the perspective of clergy in the process of law and order in 17th century England.
