Interpreters taking care of English gardens

A Land of Plenty – cancelled

Come learn about the bountiful landscape of 17th century Virginia at Henricus Historical Park. What foods and resources sustained, nourished and allowed the Algonquin peoples of Virginia to thrive? How did the bounty of the land compare to what Virginia colonists were used to back in England? Join us as we explore the cultural differences and similarities between the diets of Powhatan and English people in early Virginia. Adult groups, clubs, college classes and individuals welcome.
