Home School Day (Sold Out!)
(Ages 4-14)
SOLD OUT: Join us for Home School Day on September 10th from 10:00am – 2:00pm! During the program, students will participate in a variety of historical demonstrations and make-and-take projects.
- Learn to build a fire like the English colonists
- Make a mini hand-dipped candle
- Watch a musket demonstration and learn about 17th century armor
- Construct your own compass and test its accuracy
- Make you own woven fabric on a mini-loom
- Watch our blacksmith or carpenter at work!
There will be a thirty-minute lunch break during the program. Families are encouraged to pack bag lunches or snacks to enjoy during this time. Space is limited! Register now by calling 804-318-8797.

Cost: $10/child, $3/ages 2-3, $5/accompanying adult; Henricus Members: $5/child, $1/ages 2-3, free for accompanying adults.
