How did Virginia colonization begin? Why did some early Jamestown settlers move upriver to the “new” outpost of Citie of Henricus? Life in the 1600s in Virginia was challenging: who did the colonists meet, how did their government change, what was the new settlement like and how did they survive? Experience a home school education program designed to help meet curriculum goals in a fun, interactive environment at a living history museum. Students will be divided by age level to work on age-appropriate activities and curriculum. Registration is required by September 10thth by calling 804-318-8797.
