Join us Saturday and Sunday for the Battle of Osborne’s Landing!

Visit Revolutionary War re-enactors in their American and British encampments as they re-create the 1781 Battle at Osborne’s Landing where Major General William Phillips ordered British forces, which included Benedict Arnold, to attack the supplies of the Virginia State Navy and Virginia Militia.  During this attack, most of the Virginia State Navy fleet was destroyed.

Visitors will experience militia drills and artillery demos.

Come see the sights and sounds of the American Revolution in Virginia!

Saturday, April 22 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • 10:00 a.m. Camps open to public
  • 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. American Militia drill on bluff
  • 11:30 a.m. Artillery demo on bluff
  • 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Battle of Osborne’s Landing on bluff
  • 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Camp life in American and British camps

Sunday, April 23 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

  • 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Camps open to public, camp life in American and British camps
  • 11:30 a.m. Artillery demo on bluff
