This event will feature the use of artillery through the colonial period to the modern age. Living history crews and their cannons will drill and fire their 17th through 20th century cannons on the bluff overlooking the James River. Living history interpreters will demonstrate types of engineering that would often accompany artillery. Cannon drills and firing will occur all throughout the day. A Grand Firing will be held at 3pm where all cannons will alternate their fire.
